“Confrontation/Prayer” - a fishing trawl went out for night fishing. The plot of the picture conveys perseverance and work in moving towards the intended goal, despite external circumstances and headwinds. I especially felt this in emigration. Symbolism is present here too. The deep sea, illuminated by ghostly moonlight, and a strong-willed red ship with a lantern on a cross-shaped mast. The nets are lowered into the choppy waters, the land is left behind.
